Slovakia puts its MiG-29 aircraft on the ground

As a precaution after a recent accident

Following to the accident occurred to a Slovak MiG-29 aircraft (registration 6526/SL) two days ago, the national authorities decided to ground all the units of the model in service at its Air Force. The measure was taken as a precaution, pending the outcome of the investigations started immediately after the crash. According to the Defense Ministry, the fighter crashed near the town of Zlaté Moravce while carrying out a training flight involving two MiG-29 airplanes. The MiG-29 is a twin-engine jet fighter aircraft from air superiority of first Soviet construction, then Russian.
