The first Russian Su-30SM aircraft will arrive in Belarus in November

According to a contract signed between Moscow and Minsk in 2017, Russia will begin the delivery in November of Sukhoi Su-30SM combat aircraft for the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus. This is a statement published today on "Tass" by Belarusian defense minister Andrei Ravkov who announced the entry into force of the treaty, which provides for the shipment of four aircraft for a total of twelve by 2020.
The Su-30 is a multirole fighter based on the Su-27UB (codename Nato "Flanker C"). Super maneuverable, two-seater, developed by the Russian company Sukhoi Aviation Corporation is a fighter for deep interdiction missions suitable for all seasons, air-to-air and air-to-surface. It was developed as a long-range interceptor jet with the ability to share target-coordinates with multiple planes. It has a range of 1500 km and a flight duration of 3.5 hours without refuelling.
