Aircraft and transport: the sixth Air Law Conference is about to begin

One of the most important conferences in Italy in the sector. The main issues and participations in detail

The next June 21, 2019 at the Luiss "Guido Carli University" in Rome will be held the annual Air Law Conference, now in its sixth edition, entitled "Facing the new Challenges in the Aviation Industry - How Regulators and Air Law Experts are Addressing Them", organized by Studio Pierallini and the Luiss School of Law. The Air Law Conference is now one of the most important air transport events in Italy. Experts, regulators, airlines and international and national operators, will discuss on topical issues for the air transport market, from the ability to attract new investments, to regulatory and competition aspects, to the analysis of future post-"Brexit" scenarios, up to the new case law guidelines on passenger rights.

The conference will take place entirely in English to allow the participation by international lawyers and numerous representatives of the authorities, universities and national, European and international airlines. The works will be attended by Jeffrey Shane, General Counsel of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Alessio Quaranta, general director of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), Pablo Mendes de Leon, director of the International Institute of Air and Space Law of the University of Leiden, Ivan Bassato, Airport Management Director of Aeroporti di Roma SpA, Mark Bisset for the Clyde & Co law firm in London, Fathi Atti director of Qatar Airways aeronautical policies, Mia Wouters navigation at the University of Gent, Laura Pierallini, founder of the Pierallini law firm in Rome and coordinator of the event.
