Ukrainian conflict: 29,000 Russian soldiers killed

At least 46,241 deaths recorded overall in three months of war

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry published its daily bulletin in these hours. It reported that 29,200 Russian soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war on Feb. 24, 2022, to date. This is the death toll among the ranks of Moscow's armed forces in the first three months of the armed conflict. British intelligence calculated that the amount of casualties is similar to the one recorded by the Soviet Union in nine years of war in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, at least 46,241 people have been killed in total in three months of conflict on both sides, with 12,666 non-fatally wounded, according to daily monitoring by the Reuters news agency. Meanwhile, the number of refugees (the tally takes together domestic mobilization and flight abroad) rises to 14 million. Material damage, on the other hand, is estimated at about 600 billion dollari. 

These are the damages inflicted in three months on Moscow's armed forces according to the Kiev government's calculation: neutralized 204 Russian fighters, 170 helicopters, 476 drones, 1293 Russian tanks, 604 artillery pieces, 3166 armored vehicles, 2206 other vehicles. This is the damage inflicted on Kiev, according to the Russian Defense Ministry: 177 aircraft, 125 helicopters, 990 drones, 319 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3226 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1643 artillery pieces and mortars, and 3106 other vehicles.
