Airplanes and helicopters. "Farnborough Airshow 2022" (July 18-22)

The event returns after the 2020 edition cancelled due to the pandemic

"Farnborough International Air Show" is a seven-day international exhibition of the aviation and space industry held every two years in England at the airport of the same name.

The Show has five pavilions and an outdoor area for static aircraft displays. Demonstration flights and aerial exhibitions are held every day. The event is open to the public in the last two days and during these final days other aircraft not subject to sale are put on display and carry out air shows.

The event, initially annual, at first passed to a biennial cadence from 1962, later it opened its doors to international exhibitors from all over the world, becoming an important international event. Currently the show is held at Farnborough Airport every even year, around mid-July, and then alternates with the Paris show held in odd years, while it is a short time from the "Berlin Air Show" (Internationale Luft- und Raumfahrtausstellung Berlin, ILA).

The last edition was the 51st and took place from 16 to 22 July 2018, the one in 2020 should have been held regularly in the same month, but it was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, while that of this year is held from 18 to July 22nd, 2022.

Among the exhibitors include: Aiad and Italian Ministry of Defense, Italian Space Agency, Ala, Airbus, Atr, Bell, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Aerospace Technology District, Electronics, Embraer, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Lombardia Aerospace Cluster and Lazio Region.
