U.S. MARINE COMPLETED CHECKS OF COBRA HELICOPTERS

WASHINGTON, The u.S. Marine Corps has completed safety inspections of its 198 AH-1W Cobra attack helicopters.All but ten, needing the blades to be replaced, will return to service. Cobra flights were stopped after it was discovered that some of the older blades on the choppers might be susceptible to cracking.
