PRATT&WHITNEY TO SIGN CONTRACT EXTENSION ON US AIR FORCE C-17 ENGINES
CANADA, The $750 million contract will continue the off-wing work on U.S. Air Force C-17 engines through 2005. The deal covers the entire C-17 fleet of 533 engines from 2001 to 2005. The package provides off-wing maintenance based on aircraft flying time. The P&W/United team will handle overhauls.
