Russia puts three military satellites into orbit
Plesetsk, Russia - With a Rokot launcher, the same used for GOCE
Russia performed this morning the launch of three military satellites from Plesetsk cosmodrome. For the lift off has been used a Rokot launcher, the same that had been used in March to launch ESA's (European Space Agency) satellite GOCE (see AVIONEWS). The Rokot is a carrier rocket, developed by Khrunichev Space Center, built on the basis of the intercontinental ballistic missile RS-18 Stiletto....
