Alitalia (2): easyJet confirms that it has submitted an offer
"Interest in a renovated carrier"
In waiting of the proposal of Ferrovie dello Stato for Alitalia to be announced, the low-cost carrier easyJet has confirmed that it has submitted a bid in consortium with the US Delta. This was announced by the British company, which reiterated "the interest in a restructured Alitalia, and the offer reflects both the terms of the sales process and is consistent with the strategy of easyJet in Italy"....
