Aci Europe congress (2): Best Airport Award winners announced
"The challenges of growth" is the theme of the award - ATTACHMENT

The winners of the Best Airport Award were announced at the Gala Dinner of the 35th Aci Europe Annual congress and general assembly (Athens, 18-20 June 2025), “the airports that have truly stood out, from the largest and busiest hubs to the smallest but essential European regional airports”, as a note describes them. The theme of the 2025 award is “The Challenges of Growth”, precisely because European airports have had to quickly adapt to new challenges in terms of operations, sustainability, passenger experience, safety, financial resilience and staff wellbeing.
Below are the winners of the prizes awarded.
- Award for Outstanding Resilience - Ukrainian Airports
- Digital Transformation Award - Munich Airport
- Eco-innovation Award - Maastricht-Aachen Airport (Special mention to Avinor Stavanger Airport)
- Human Resources Excellence Award - Lyon Airport
- World Business Partner Award - Ella Soltani of To70 Aviation
- In the category under 5 million passengers - Cork Airport (special mention to Tallinn Airport)
- In the category of 5 to 10 million passengers - Sofia Vasil Levski Airport (special mention to Larnaka Airport)
- In the category 10 to 25 million passengers - Hamburg Airport (special mention to Milan-Linate Airport)
- In the category of 25 to 40 million passengers - Athens International Airport
- Over 40 million passengers. Rome-Fiumicino airport (special mention to London-Heathrow airport).
