Qantas appoints new Regional Managing Director
For UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Qantas announced today the appointment of Darsh Chapman as the new Regional General Manager for the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, with the position set to begin in August 2025.
She will be based at Qantas's London office, taking over the role previously held by Georgia Blackburn, who has led the regional teams in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, and Africa for the past three years.
Chapman brings extensive and solid operational and commercial experience, gained in her executive role leading Qantas’s Global Airports since 2021, in addition to prior leadership positions within the airline’s sales and distribution team.
The appointment comes at a time when Qantas continues to grow in the region. After recently marking a year of direct flights from Paris to Perth, the airline will soon launch the new Johannesburg–Perth route in December, while continuing preparations for the Project Sunrise flights, which will connect Australia’s east coast directly with London.
In her new role, she will focus on expanding the carrier’s presence in both established and emerging markets across the region, further strengthening the brand and key partnerships in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
