Turkish Airlines and Air Algérie sign agreement

To expand partnerships and code-share

The flag carriers Turkish Airlines and Air Algérie have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation and review their code-share agreement within a broader scope of application. The agreements were signed, respectively, by CEOs Bilal Ekşi and Hamza Benhamouda, at the North African carrier’s headquarters in Algiers, in the presence of senior executives from both airlines.

The MoU establishes a framework for enhanced cooperation, which includes an expanded code-share agreement. In addition to increasing connectivity, the two carriers will explore joint initiatives in cargo services, aircraft leasing, catering, lounge access, maintenance and ground handling operations. Turkish Airlines and Air Algérie also plan to collaborate on environmental projects, sustainability initiatives and training programs. The partnership aims to support business growth while promoting cultural, social and economic exchange between Turkey and Algeria.
