As part of the Letter of Intent (LOI) signed in February 2025 (see for details AVIONEWS) between ELT Group and EDGE Group, a strategic cooperation Letter was signed today to advance discussions on the supply of electronic warfare (EW) systems for the Kuwait Navy’s missile boats, with ELT Group outlined as the preferred supplier.

It was signed by Domitilla Benigni, CEO & COO of ELT Group, and Omar Al Zaabi, President – Trading and Mission Support, EDGE Group, and was witnessed by Rodrigo Torres, Group CFO, EDGE, and Paolo Zani, Managing Director for ELT Group UAE.

The document reflects both parties’ shared intent to accelerate the process and collaborate towards formalising the contract. It marks the first significant milestone in their partnership, which also includes plans for the potential establishment of a joint-venture in the UAE.
