Today ceremony 65th anniversary of the founding of the "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport in Rome

				Briefs. The "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport in Rome-Fiumicino celebrates today, October 31, 2025, its 65th anniversary.
The main ceremony will take place at 11:30am at Terminal 5, in the presence, among the others, of the Head of State, Sergio Mattarella and the President of ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) Pierluigi Di Palma.
The Rome airport, Italy's primary hub for international and intercontinental traffic, was formally inaugurated and fully operational on 15 January 1961, after having been used for the 1960 Olympic Games.
