ITA Airways resumes Rome–Tel Aviv route from January
Initially operate two daily frequencies

ITA Airways announces that, starting January 1, 2026, the direct connection between Rome-Fiumicino and "Ben Gurion" in Tel Aviv will be restarted.
The airline will initially operate two daily frequencies, as detailed below:
AZ806 departing from Rome-Fiumicino at 09:15 am and arriving in Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 01:35 pm local time; AZ807 departing from Tel Aviv at 2:55 pm and arriving in Rome-Fiumicino at 5:40 pm local time.
AZ810 departing from Rome-Fiumicino at 10:50 pm and arriving in Tel Aviv at 03:10 am local time on the following day; AZ809 departing from Tel Aviv at 05:15 am local time and arriving in Rome-Fiumicino at 08:05 am local time.
These schedules ensure convenient connections to and from Tel Aviv across ITA Airways’ network through its Rome-Fiumicino hub.
The route will be operated with the A-321neo, the first narrow-body aircraft in the ITA Airways fleet configured with three distinct cabins: Business Class (featuring full flat-bed seats), Premium Economy, and Economy. The A-321neo offers lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat compared to previous-generation aircraft.
The resumption of flights between Rome and Tel Aviv holds strategic importance for ITA Airways and represents a significant step for Italy, further strengthening the commercial, social, and cultural ties between the two countries.
