VINTAGE SPITFIRE CRASHES DURING AIR SHOW IN FRANCE

ROUEN, FRANCE, A vintage Spitfire dating from the Second World War has crashed yesterday during an air show at the Rouen-Boos airport, in Normandy. The single-engine aircraft plunged into a field. The pilot was killed but none of the about 10.000 spectators was injured. The accident was caused by a mechanical failure.
