RUSSIA: PILOT DIES SHORTLY BEFORE LANDING
MOSCOW, Vasily Pastukhov, pilot of a Tu-134 flying from Kiev to Moscow died as the plane was about to land in Moscow's Vnukovo airport. The pilot had a heart attack 20 minutes before landing. The plane landed safely. An investigation has been launched to determine why Pastukhov’s had not been given a health check before the flight.
