AIRLINES SUSPEND FLIGHTS TO BUJUMBURA
BUJUMBURA, BURUNDI, The army in Burundi says it has liberated the northern suburbs of the Burundian capital, Bujumbura, from a Hutu rebel force which had been holding out there. Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Regional Air suspended flights to Bujumbura yesterday as heavy fighting continued around the airport in the north of the city.
