Aviation Capital Group orders 50 B-737 MAX aircraft

Half of them in the version /8 and the other one in /10 variant

Boeing and Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) announced yesterday the airplane lessor has placed a new order for 50 B-737 MAX aircraft, including 25 B-737/8 and 25 B-737/10 airplanes.

The acquisition of 50 additional jets increases ACG's B-737 MAX order book to 121, including 50 firm order for the 737/10. With this purchase, ACG has the largest order book for the 737/10 of any lessor.

The 737 MAX family offers airlines efficiency and route flexibility for short- and medium-haul air travel. Lessors have now ordered nearly 1,300 MAX jets which represents one fifth of the total 737 backlog.
