Following the completion of the investigations into the technical issue identified on a subsystem component production line after VV29 launcher integration (see AVIONEWS), a new launch date has been set for 19 May 2026 at 00:52 local time (03:52 UTC, 05:52 CEST).

The activities were conducted in close coordination with all involved partners. Vega C and its passenger, the SMILE satellite, are in stable and safe conditions.
