New US military airplanes to Pakistan

Islamabad, Pakistan - The first American maritime reconnaissance planes will be delivered within the year

The Pakistani Armed Forces will acquire from the Americans, within the end of the year, the first two marine patrolling P-3C Orion airplanes, according to governmental sources. The USD 1,2 bn agreement, provides for delivering others six Orion within 2006, suppling 2000 Tow-2A missiles and systems of artillery for naval units.
