Bomb threat on an Air India airplane

The aircraft landed in London as a precaution

A bomb threat forced Air India's AI 191 flight from Mumbai to Newark to made an emergency landing at London-Stansted airport. The alarm went off around 9:45am today. The airplane was escorted by a Royal Air Force Thyphoon fighter as foreseen in these cases by the procedure. Stansted airport stated on Twitter that the Boeing 777 landed safely, expected by Essex police. The aircraft was taken for checks...
