USA: "Russia is developing space weapon"

Revelation, head of the American House of Representatives intelligence committee

US intelligence reports that Russia is developing new nuclear capabilities with the aim of militarizing space with anti-satellite weapon systems. Moscow's aim is to build a "deterrence" which however represents an international threat. This was surprisingly declared in recent hours by the head of the intelligence commission of the American House of Representatives, the Republican Mike Turner

"I will demand that President Joe Biden declassify all information regarding this threat so that Congress, the administration and all of our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat", Turner wrote on social networks.

The American newspaper "New York Times" revealed this exclusively, stating that Washington has informed the United States Congress and its allies in Europe. Among the hypotheses on this new weapon, under development in Russia, there is the hypersonic missile 3 M22 Zirkon, which has a range of up to 1000 kilometers and a speed of up to 9800 km/h which allows it to evade the defence.
