Indian company tries to cope with shortage of Pratt & Whitney engines
Indian IndiGo Airlines is looking to lease around 12 aircraft from the secondary market and to lease up to eight airframes (including fuselage, undercarriage, wings) to accommodate the grounding of several A-320 aircraft /200N and A-321/200NX due to problems in the supply chain of the engines produced by the US company Pratt & Whitney."We are in a period of continuous evaluation of the options available....
