ELT Group participates in the 2025 edition of "DSEI Japan" (May 21-23)

The Group presents its solutions in the five operational domains

ELT Group participates in the 2025 edition of "DSEI Japan" takes place in Tokyo from 21 to 23 May (H7-210). DSEI Japan is an opportunity to showcase ELT Group's ability to respond to evolving defence and security challenges with cutting-edge technological solutions. Thanks to seventy years of experience in the electromagnetic spectrum domain, ELT Group proposes solutions in all operational domains (Air, Land, Sea, Cyber and Space) exploiting the electromagnetic spectrum as the glue between the various domains, and advanced C2 (Command and Control) systems with a view to interoperability and cooperation between manned, unmanned, legacy or next generation platforms.

The Group covers all operational needs for intelligence and protection of platforms, both manned and unmanned, in all domains, with integrated passive and active solutions in radar, communication, and infrared bands; it also has solutions for the protection of critical assets and infrastructures from the UAV threat. Its integrated systems are able to maximise the operational effectiveness of systems and ensure their interoperability, with high resilience to possible cyber attacks.

In the avionics field, the ELT Group not only participates in the GCAP programme as a partner in the ISANKE&ICS domain, but also in the EFA Typhoon programme in the Eurodass domain, i.e. the Self-Protection System, whose latest generation supports the extension of the system's operational life and makes the platform an important asset for future system architectures.

In the naval domain, the company has integrated solutions in a complete EMSO suite, both passive and active, consisting of ESM-ELINT/CESM-COMINT/ECM/DIRCM and Counter-UAV with advanced command and control systems peculiar to Spectrum Operations - EMSO C2 - that optimise operations and enable multi-platform management and collaboration with off-board systems (manned and unamanned), to achieve Maritime Domain Awareness, in ISR/Intelligence missions, and to ensure self-protection/mutual-protection/EA against all kinds of threats. These capabilities are present in all ELT's Maritime & Underwater solutions: from surface units of any class, to submarines, to helicopters, up to MPAs to perform ISR/SIGINT missions.

In the terrestrial domain, ELT Group's solutions range from Elint/Comint and ECM systems integrated with command and control systems to optimise their operations, to Counter-UAV systems, fixed, transportable or on-the-move. The latter, based on Artificial Intelligence techniques, enable radarless architectures to minimise the risk of being detected by the enemy.

The company's strong propensity for innovation has led it to take on challenges in new areas, among which Space occupies a prominent place. This sector is becoming increasingly strategic for governments. ELT Group has developed both solutions to perform Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) for the collection and management of data from the satellite platform, and solutions to protect satellites from potential cyber attacks by securing data transmission between satellites and between satellites and ground stations.

Expertise in electromagnetic spectrum management combined with cyber allows the ELT Group to expand its offering to include multi-domain and multi-layer CEMA (Cyber Electromagnetic Activities) capabilities to protect networks and operational assets from cyber attacks through coordinated monitoring, early warning and contextualised response in the radio frequency and cyber domains.
