Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and Italy’s ELT Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance collaboration in the co-development of defence technologies for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Eve Air Mobility has signed its first binding framework agreement with Revo, an advanced Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operator headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, and its parent company, Helicopters International SA (OHI). The contract includes the purchase of up to 50 electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, associated entry into service and aftermarket services. Embraer, a global reference in the aerospace industry, announced yesterday during the 55th edition of the "Paris Air Show" (June 16-22) that the Portuguese State has decided to acquire a sixth KC-390 "Millennium" aircraft. Airbus and OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation) have reached an agreement with the A-400M launch Nations to secure production for the programme for the foreseeable future, improve the cost of operations, and jointly develop new capabilities. Embraer and the Netherlands have signed a historic contract today for the supply of a state-of-the-art aeromedical evacuation system for the Royal Netherlands Air Force's C-390 Millennium aircraft fleet. The agreement, which includes a firm order and seven purchase options, was signed today by Vice Admiral Jan Willem Hartman (MSc), Commander of the Material and IT Command, and Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security, during a ceremony at the "Paris Air Show" (June 16-22). The core of the aeromedical system is a roll-on/roll-off medical module, a self-contained and air-transportable unit that functions as a mini-hospital. It supports the treatment and transport of patients, including those requiring full life support. At the "Paris Air Show" (June 16-22) Leonardo and Bombardier Defense announced they’re entering into a collaboration phase to explore new opportunities in the Maritime MMA (Multi-Mission Aircraft) capability market. The parties signed a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) intended to evaluate the possibility to respond to the growing demand for this wide range of airborne capabilities by integrating selected Leonardo systems into the Bombardier Global 6500 twin-engine jet platform.
