News from Italy.  Within the framework of the existing master contract with Mbda in France, Avio SpA has signed a production order for the supply of propulsion engines and associated aerodynamic surfaces for the Aster 30 defense system, with a value of approximately 50 million Euros.

Under the same master contract, the company further explains in a brief statement, it has also signed additional, independent and unrelated orders amounting to an aggregate of approximately 10 million Euros. 

All orders will be developed on average over a five-year production period. These operations consolidate the positive trend in Avio’s propulsion sector within the defense field and further strengthen the collaboration with the Mbda group.
