Expected at the end of the year NSE 2025, the fair on the space economy of the future

The seventh edition of the event will take place from December 10 to 12 at the Fiera di Roma

Nse New Space Economy 2025 returns, to be held from December 10 to 12 at the Fiera di Roma. Now in its seventh edition, it is the reference event in the space sector for public bodies and institutions, specialized companies, emerging startups, universities, and research centers. Organized by Fiera Roma, it is currently the only Italian event structured around both an exhibition area and a conference program, and it is part of the Space Golden League, the prestigious alliance among the most important European space conferences. This alliance – which also includes the European Space Conference in Brussels, the new Munich Space Summit in Munich, as well as the recent Les Assises du NewSpace in Paris – represents a highly significant membership for NSE, destined to greatly enhance the event’s international appeal and reach.

There are numerous new features for the 2025 edition. First and foremost, the organization of a Scientific Conference led by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) has been initiated. This conference will take place during the event, bringing together managers, researchers, and professionals from the sector to delve into key topics and new challenges posed by the development of the Space Economy. Among the central themes, this Conference will focus on two decisive events for the future of space activities in Italy and Europe: the implementation of the first Italian Space Law, effective since last June, with its impacts on the European regulatory and normative framework, as well as the outcomes of the European Space Agency (ESA) Ministerial Council, scheduled in Bremen (Germany) at the end of November, during which Italy is preparing to assume a leadership role.

More generally, the program includes, in addition to a wide exhibition area featuring stands and booths of entities and companies from the sector, other important initiatives and activities aimed at both exhibitors and the public. Among the new features, there will be TechTables, technical roundtables that will connect experts and exhibitors, serving as collaborative think tanks for professionals and experts across the entire space ecosystem, where new partnerships and projects can be explored and developed. Following the success in 2024, the Nse Pitch Competition is confirmed, the annual contest that selects and rewards the most innovative startups in the Space Economy landscape.

Traditional elements also return, such as the Arena, the central stage within the exhibition area that will host corporate events and presentations organized by exhibitors and sponsors, and the Networking and B2B Area, designed to promote meetings and new connections, especially on an international level. Last but not least is the Educational Hub, the area dedicated to training and updating on space-related topics aimed at youth, students, professionals, and tomorrow’s talents. In collaboration with the leading companies in the sector, Nse will once again activate its Career Opportunity project this year, to facilitate contact and guidance towards real job opportunities within the Space Economy sector and its applications.
