Cologne-Bonn Airport: Cenk Özöztürk managing director until 2032
COO’s contract extended early by five years
At its meeting today (25 June), the Supervisory Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH decided to extend Managing Director Cenk Özöztürk’s contract early by a further five years. The 47-year-old will therefore remain part of the airport’s management team until 2032. Together with the Chairman of the Management Board, Thilo Schmid (50), he will continue to drive the company’s successful development in the future.
Cenk Özöztürk has been Managing Director of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH since Summer 2024. In his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), he is responsible for the areas of Aviation, Ground Services, Human Resources, Infrastructure and Information Technology. He has been working at the airport since 2013 and has held various management positions there, including Executive Vice President of Aviation with responsibility for airport operations and Head of Human Resources. Before joining the airport, he worked for various companies in the aviation industry.
