CHINA TO BUY 38 RUSSIAN FIGHTERS

MOSCOW, China ordered 38 Su-30 MKK military jets to Russia, Itar-Tass news agency reported. China already owns almost 100 Su-27 russian fighters. China's military modernization is geared toward threatening Taiwan. The deal is $2 billion worth and jets would be delivered in 2003.
