MOLDOVA TO SELL MILITARY AIRCRAFTS

MOLDOVA, Moldova's parliament today approved the sale of six MiG-29 warplanes and 13 ground-to-ground missile launchers due to the lack of funds to maintain them. Moldova already sold 21 MiG-29 warplanes to the United States in 1997 for $40 million.
