BULGARIA TO UPGRADE MIG-29'S FLEET

SOFIA, Bulgarian government said it will repair and refurbish its 21 Russian MiG-29 jet fighters scrapping the plan to replace them with U:S: F-16 fighters. The upgrading will be conducted in order to meet NATO military standards. Bulgaria hopes to be invited to join Nato next summer.
