Is Us airbase in Saudi Arabia to be transferred to Qatar?

According to the British daily newspaper 'The Guardian' this Us decided-by manoeuvre could precede an attack against Iraq. Transferring the air base could be in fact caused by Saudi Arabia worries of being involved in the probable Usa-Iraq conflict. Qatar air base has already proven to have a strategic importance for Us when Saudi Arabia denied its approval to attack Afghanistan from its territories. Anyway...
