"Lifting" for American F-16s

Washington, USA - All the Fighting Falcons to be subject to structural assistance in order to extend their operative lives

All the American F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole fighters are practically going to be subjected to a structural revision programme which has been called STAR. The purpose is to extend "Vipers"' operative lives beyond 2020 but, in order to achieve this goal, several structural overworking of the airframes due to aerodynamical and weight factors must be removed. This plan will cost USD 1bn.
