First AMI EF-2000 Typhoon in service

Rome, Italy - This new aircraft to be located in Cameri (Novara) for personnel training

The first Italian EF-2000 Typhoon medium-light multirole interceptor fighter entered service on February 19. The IT001 airframe belongs to the first batch of 29 airplanes compared to the 121 planes which have been ordered for Italian Air Force (AMI) and will be employed for the first personnel training at Cameri (Novara) base.
