The Kitty Hawk receives its first F/A-18F

Washington, USA - The Super Hornets to replace the F-14 Tomcat

The first F/A-18 F Super Hornet (as the two-seated version of the F/A-18E) deployed for the Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier has landed on this ship. Practically, the replacement of F-14 Tomcats fighter interceptors has started though pilots notice that their new airplane is smaller, being just a bit bigger than Hornet's first versions.
