Italian Air Force (AMI): the 65th anniversary of the "Frecce Tricolori" planes (6-7 September in Rivolto)
The Friulian base will host ground and in-flight displays, airplanes, foreign aerobatic teams, aircraft on static display and themed exhibition areas

On 6 and 7 September 2025 at Rivolto Airport (Udine, North East of Italy), home of the 2nd Wing of the Italian Air Force and of the 313th Aerobatic Training Group, an international-scale event will be held to celebrate the 65th season of the "Frecce Tricolori". A unique, public event and an unmissable opportunity that will transform the base into a meeting point for tens of thousands of spectators, industry professionals, aviation enthusiasts and all those who will have the pleasure of celebrating with the Italian Air Force this important milestone of the National Aerobatic Team (PAN), founded in 1961 and over the years a symbol of passion, professionalism and an ambassador of Italy on the international stage.
A rich program of aerial displays will feature numerous foreign aerobatic teams, flyovers by modern and historic aircraft, and a static airplane exhibition. Alongside the flying activities, visitors will be able to experience a cultural and experiential path through exhibition areas such as the one dedicated to the history of the 2nd Wing of Rivolto, on the centenary of its establishment; an area dedicated to Space will allow visitors to admire models and memorabilia of Italian space achievements, while a recreational and experiential trail, with flight simulators and virtual reality headsets, will allow the public to experience the emotions of flight first-hand.
The event will also be the occasion to highlight the charitable project "A Gift from the Sky for the Bambino Gesù"; a solidarity initiative that throughout 2025, thanks to voluntary donations from Italian Air Force personnel, private individuals and associations, will raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment and technologies for the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital in Rome.
Attendance at the event will be free, subject to mandatory registration via the page dedicated to the event. Logistical information, program updates and guidelines for public access and media accreditation are available on the same web page and by monitoring the Air Force's social channels.
