NEW ATHENS AIRPORT INAUGURATED WITH OLYMPIC FLIGHT

ATHENS, GREECE, The new Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport was inaugurated and began operations with the landing of an Olympic airpcraft coming from Toronto. The airport is placed in Spata, a few km far from Athens and it is equipped with state of the art handling systems. 600 aircraft movements are expected every day.
