Star Alliance growth continues in Italy with the winter schedule

Rimini, Italy - More than 1,500 weekly frequencies operated by members of the alliance among 16 airports in the country

"By the end of the year, with the arrival of Continental and Brussels Airlines, Star Alliance members operating directly among 16 Italian airports will become 18, flying to 39 destinations, 3 of which in Italy, 6 intercontinental and 30 international. With the 2009/2010 winter schedule, that will be active from October 25, member carriers will operate from Italy more than 1,500 weekly frequencies (+20%)...
