Military pilot died in New Zealand air accident

Ohakea, New Zealand - Member of the display team "Red Checkers"

A military instructor pilot of the New Zealand Air Force was killed this morning in an accident involving his Pacific Aerospace CT-4E trainer aircraft, near Ohakea Air Base. 32-year-old squadron leader Nicholas Haydn Cree was also a member of the display team "Red Checkers" of the New Zealand Air Force. At the time of the crash Mr. Cree was holding an exercise together with five more aerobatic pilots....
