Italian Navy's Harrier aircraft crashed into the sea

Rome, Italy - Pilot safe and his recovery is ongoing

An Italian Navy's Harrier AV-8 aircraft crashed this morning into the Jonio Sea in front of the Calabrian coasts. The pilot ejected shortly after to be assured that airplane's fall has not caused a danger. The pilot's recovery operations are ongoing and he has already in contact with the rescue means.
