Messina: R-44 helicopter crashes and burns

Messina, Italy - Four dead in the sudden disaster

This morning in Giammoro, a town in the Province of Messina, four people died aboard a R-44 helicopter, registered I-COST, which crashed and caught fire, police told. According to preliminary, the helicopter was headed to the Aeolian Islands. Policemen and firemen are on the spot to douse the flames and establish the identity of the victims. Still unknown causes of the accident.
