China launches successfully eighth Beidou satellite

Beijing, China - On the Long march-3A rocket launcher

It occurred yesterday, from the Satellite launch center in Xichang, in the Sichuan province, China, the lift-off of the rocket launch Long march-3A with on board the 8th navigation satellite Beidou or Compass. It is a IGSO, Inclined Geo Synchronous Orbit, identical to other two Beidous of the seven put into orbit in the last four years. Its launch also implies the completion of the basic functions...
