A-380: the formalization of China Southern's contract is expected on Friday

Beijing, China - To purchase five A-380s

China Southern Airlines confirmed officially (see AVIONEWS) the purchase of five A-380s for a value of about USD 1,4bn: Chinese press reported. The formalization of the contract is expected on the next Friday in Paris. Including the new order the requests for A-380 rose to 144 planes. The list price for the new plane is between USD 263m and USD 286m.
