New York, Usa - The carrier has just succeeded in reaching its ambitious plan to save USD 1bn annual in order to avoid failure

US carrier US Airways succeeded in reaching its ambitious plan to save USD 1bn annual (see AVIONEWS) so as to avoid liquidity, but still has many difficulties to reach the next step of its restructuring plan: to emerge from bankrupt by the middle of the current year. Analysts said the carrier is not really over a possible failure as they think some unknown events may result for US Airways irreversible....
