AIRBUS A340-600 MAKES ITS FIRST FLIGHT TODAY

PARIS, The new Airbus A340-600 is to make its maiden flight today. The aircraft is the largest in the Airbus range and it carries up 380 passengers with a range of 13.900 km. it will undergo several tests in the next day and it will be officially launched by Virgin Atlantic in summer 2002.
