AIRLINER AND RAF JET NEAR MISS
LONDON, A RAF Tornado jet and a Fokker 50 and an Amsterdam-bound Fokker 50 aircraft operated by KLM UK went near miss on wednesday 10 miles north of Flamborough Head, near Bridlington. The plane was carrying 24 passengers and six crew members. An investigation was launched. Both aircraft were both under the control of Manchester air traffic controllers when the near miss occurred.
