INDIAN AIR FORCE JET CRASHES INTO A PARK

CHENNAY, INDIA, An Indian Air Force Kiran MK II aircraft, built by state-run Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd (HAL), crashed on Thursday into a lion safari park located in Vandalur, a crowded Chennai suburb. The pilot was killed. "The plane went down at a location where no one was present," an official said, adding the piston-driven plane was completely wrecked", said Zoo director N. Krishnakumar.
