Cebu Pacific finalises order for 16 A-330neo airplanes
Commitments for A-321XLR and A-320neo aircraft - DATA SHEET
Cebu Pacific (CEB), a carrier based in the Philippines, has signed a firm order with Airbus for 16 long-range A-330neo aircraft. The order firms up the wide-body portion of a previously announced Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which also includes commitments for 10 A-321XLR and five A-320neo single-aisle airplanes.
The A-330neo ordered by the carrier is a higher-capacity version of the A-330/900, with up to 460 seats in a single-class configuration. CEB plans to operate the aircraft on trunk routes within the Philippines and the rest of Asia, as well as on longer range services to Australia and the Middle East.
Incorporating the latest-generation Trent 7000 engines from Rolls-Royce and a new wing, the aircraft offers a reduction in fuel consumption as well as an extended range capability of up to 8,000 nautical miles/15,000 kilometres. The A-330neo cabin provides the comfort of Airspace by the industry.
The technical data sheet of the A-330neo airplane is attached to this AVIONEWS.
