As announced on TV last night by Minister Di Maio, a plane from China landed in Fiumicino with nine medical experts and epidemiologists and material to support doctors and the Italian population engaged in the fight against the new coronavirus. The team was led by the vice-president of the Chinese Red Cross, Yang Huichuan, and by cardiopulmonary resuscitation professor Liang Zongan, and composed of resuscitators, pediatricians, nurses and figures who managed the covid-19 emergency in China. The group will be hosted by the Italian Red Cross.
Fans, respiratory materials, electrocardiographs, tens of thousands of masks and other medical devices were unloaded from the China Eastern plane. Upon landing in Fiumicino, the president of the CRI, Francesco Rocca, was also present: "It is the time of kindness that materializes with the collaboration between sisters and in the work of thousands of volunteers and health workers", said the latter.
This is the news with which the Italian Red Cross greeted the arrival of aid: "After a short wait at Fiumicino airport, Ambassador Li Junhua and the Italian representatives welcomed the China Eastern A-350 with the teams of Chinese specialists and over 30 tons of medical supplies to help Italy fight # COVID 19. On the flight 9 pallets with fans, respiratory materials, electrocardiographs, tens of thousands of masks and other medical devices. The nine experts, led by Vice President of the Chinese Red Cross, Yang Huichuan, and Liang Zongan, an illustrious professor of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, are resuscitators, pediatricians, nurses and figures who managed the Coronavirus emergency in China. Almost 10,000 kilometers from #Shanghai to #Roma, but there is great enthusiasm. Now a few hours of rest and the team of Chinese doctors will be ready to make your contribution! #ForzaCinaeItalia. Welcome Chinese brothers! And thank you for being here with us in the most difficult moment".
